Richmond and Hounslow Parent Carer Forum’s (PCF) are an independent group run by parents for parents or carers of children/young people (aged 0 – 25 years) who have any form of special educational need or disability. Your child does not need an official diagnosis for you to become a member and we support families of children with any type of additional need including learning difficulties like dyslexia.

Achieving for children have a range of short presentations/webinars on lots of school related topics such as school readiness, attachment, transition to secondary school, school avoidance and many more.

Young carers are children and young people under the age of 18 who are taking on practical and/or emotional caring responsibilities normally expected of an adult, and can include anything from cooking, shopping and housework to administering medication, assisting with personal care such as washing or dressing, interpreting, physical support such as lifting and even emotional support or looking after younger siblings.

If you feel that your child could be identified as a Young Carer, please contact Maria Landeira or Dominic Sunderland via phone or email.
