School

Hello and welcome to Capella House School. We are a unique Special School meeting the needs of learners with Speech, Language and Communication needs who deserve the very best support, opportunities and encouragement in order to reach their full potential.

Our school opened in September 2019, in a new building with great facilities. We share the building with another school in the trust and work closely together to maximise learning opportunities. Like all new schools, we have grown together and have exciting plans for the future as we expand to full capacity over the next few years.

Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of our learners and remains flexible so we can provide bespoke learning opportunities. Our staff brings a wealth of experience and through our academic, social, and therapeutic curricula, supporting learning for all. With the support of the Auriga Academy Trust, we can work with colleagues to ensure our learners have access to a wide range of specialists.

We have high expectations of everyone at Capella House School, and we firmly believe that by working together with home and school, we can provide a great education for all our learners. We encourage challenge and reward learners who try something new.

With the skills, knowledge and resilience learned over their time at Capella House School, our students will leave to play a meaningful part in society.
