School Council

A school council provides a relevant and meaningful way for pupils to voice their opinions, where their views are taken into account and actions are taken as a result of their decisions.

Each class elects a School Councillor and Vice Councillor to be on the school council.  The school council meets regularly and allows pupil representation on important issues concerning the school. The School Council gives pupils an opportunity to contribute to the School Development Plan and to debate and formulate changes to the school charter.  School Council members help in senior appointments to the staff and also manage a budget to provide some additional resources for break times.
