It is with great pleasure and excitement that I welcome you to Capella House School, a new specialist provision for pupils with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) here in the centre of Twickenham, West London.
Communication is key to the lives of these young people and will underpin all aspects of school life. Our young people will develop their skills and abilities whilst gaining the necessary independence to engage in the opportunities on offer.
This new provision will provide a supportive and safe environment where young people and staff will learn and enjoy their school days together. Partnerships between home and school will also play a key role; we will empower our pupils to shine.
Capella House is to open its doors to the new purpose-built secondary site in September 2019 offering the first 14 places. The refurbished primary site will be ready to welcome the first 14 primary pupils in September 2020. Capella House will sparkle and grow.
If you have any questions about the website or school, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I am very proud to be working with the staff, Members of the Auriga Academy Trust and the DfE during this exciting new specialist development.
